Are You Born Again?

In the third chapter of John, Jesus tells Nicodemus, "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."

Are you born again?

If not, why not?

If not now, when?

Here is are the facts:

1. All of us have sinned and have come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)

2. The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

3. God commendeth his love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

4. If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. (Romans 10:9)

5. Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13)

Currently, I'm reading through Jeremiah and the LORD is telling the people (and us) over and over again to listen and obey God which they refuse to do. Am I that stubborn too I wonder? Sometimes yes. Thus the need to repent and literally get on my knees asking forgiveness of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jeremiah 25:4-7
"And the LORD hath sent unto you all his servants the prophets, rising early and sending them; but ye have not hearkened, nor inclined your ear to hear. They said, Turn ye again now every one from his evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that the LORD hath given unto you and to your fathers for ever and ever: And go not after other gods to serve them, and to worship them, and provoke me not to anger with the works of your hands; and I will do you no hurt. Yet ye have not hearkened unto me, saith the LORD; that ye might provoke me to anger with the works of your hands to your own hurt."

Turn your eyes upon the Lord Jesus Christ and be born again today. He is our ONLY HOPE!
